Last week we you informed, that Samsung continues to count on the Fan Edition series and that the next model, apparently with a label Galaxy S23 FE, according to unofficial information, will be launched in the second half of this year. Now it has penetrated the ether informace about what chipset will power it.

According to a user who goes by the name on Twitter Connor will be Galaxy S23 FE to use the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. This chip was introduced last May and compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 used by the range in some markets Galaxy S22, offers significantly better energy efficiency.

The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is manufactured using TSMC's 4nm process. This is the same technology used to make Qualcomm's current flagship chipset Snapdragon 8 Gen2. The move from Samsung to TSMC helped Qualcomm bring improvements in both power efficiency and performance to its chips. If Samsung really has plans Galaxy S23 FE to introduce, Snadpragon 8+ Gen 1 could be the ideal chip for it.

Nothing else is known about the next FE phone at the moment. With regard to the models presented so far (i.e Galaxy S20 FE, S20 FE 5G and S21 FE), however, we can expect an AMOLED display with a diagonal of around 6,5 inches and support for a 120Hz refresh rate, a triple camera, at least a 4500mAh battery with 25W fast charging, an under-display fingerprint reader, stereo speakers or an IP68 degree of protection .
