Samsung is expected to introduce new foldable smartphones sometime this summer Galaxy From Fold5 a Galaxy From Flip5. According to website information SamMobile will have storage Galaxy From Fold5 capacity 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB. These are the same variants of internal memory that it offers Galaxy ZFold4 a Galaxy S23Ultra.

The storage size should not change either Galaxy From the Flip5, which should thus be available in 128, 256 and 512 GB variants. Just like the base model of the series Galaxy The S23, the lowest storage variant of the next Flip, will apparently use a UFS 3.1 chip, while the others will use the new UFS 4.0 standard, as the Korean giant currently does not produce UFS 4.0 chips with capacities smaller than 256GB.
This means that customers who purchase the 128GB variant Galaxy From Flipu5, they won't see the comparison From Flip4 or Z Flipu3 higher reading and writing speed. However, this shouldn't bother them too much, as UFS 3.1 chips are still (more than) fast enough in terms of speed for smartphones.

We certainly wouldn't be upset if Samsung stopped offering the 128GB variant of internal memory for its flagship smartphones. This year, however, it is unlikely to happen. We can only hope that Samsung will offer a free storage upgrade to those who pre-order the base variant of the next Flip, as it has done with the series Galaxy S23, and that it will do so not only in selected markets.
