The February security patch fixes more than 50 vulnerabilities, of which 48 were fixed by Google and six by Samsung. Two of the vulnerabilities patched by the Korean giant were rated as high risk, while four were rated as medium risk. For example, Samsung fixed exploits related to the WindowManagerService service that allowed attackers to type a screenshot, a vulnerability found in the UwbDataTxStatusEvent function that allowed attackers to trigger certain activities, or a security flaw in the Secure Folder application that allowed unauthorized persons to physically access the phone in order to capture a preview of the application. As the month draws to a close, Samsung should start rolling out the March security patch soon.
