Československá obchodní banka, as, known by the abbreviation ČSOB, is a banking institution operating on the Czech and Slovak market of financial services and serving approximately 4,2 million clients. As reported CTK, so this ČSOB attack is not supposed to affect customers.

Since Friday morning, ČSOB has been dealing with an outage of some banking services, which is the cause of a cyber attack. In particular, it concerns internet banking and banking applications that do not allow payments by payment card even on the internet. Czech Post network services may also be limited. The bank itself also informed about it on its website.

It is not yet clear how long this outage will last. However, since the attack did not affect the internal network, the personal finances of the institution's clients are safe. Of course, we are actively working to eliminate the problems. If you are a customer of the bank, the only possible advice here is to simply wait until everything is resolved.
