Google released a second developer preview this week Androidu 14 and users find a number of new features in it. One of the latest features to be discovered is the automatic unlock confirmation option, which will come in handy for those who use a PIN code to unlock their phone.

If to unlock the phone with Androidem 13 you use a PIN code, normally you have to enter the PIN code and then press the OK button before the device unlocks. As the site found out XDA Developers, Android 14 introduces a minor improvement that saves you the extra step. If you turn on automatic unlock confirmation, your device will unlock as soon as you enter the correct PIN code, so you don't have to tap the OK button anymore. This feature works similarly to the existing screen lock feature in Samsung's One UI superstructure. However, there is one major difference that favors Google's approach on this matter.

While with One UI, automatic confirmation can be activated on four-digit PIN codes, Android 14 will require a minimum of six digits. While this difference may seem small, it should make your device more secure. In addition, with these digits there is a greater number of possible combinations, which should make it difficult for a potential attacker to hack into your phone.
