Along with the launch of the series Galaxy Samsung also introduced a number of protective covers and cases for the S23. One of them is also a basic silicone cover, which we were able to test together with the smallest representative of the series, i.e. the model Galaxy S23.
The Samsung cover is available in several colors, i.e. khaki, orange, navy, purple and cotton, the latter of which also arrived to us. And since the covers come directly from the manufacturer, you don't have to worry about them blocking access to individual controls or the view of the camera lens in any way. They don't offer a cut-out for the entire space (like the PanzerGlass solution), but only for individual lenses and the flash, which is definitely nice. Not only does it help with protection, but it also means less dirt gets stuck here.

There are passages for microphones, speakers and sufficient space around the USB-C connector. If you want to remove the SIM, you have to remove the cover. The buttons, on the other hand, have outputs that ensure better manipulation with them. Thanks to the use of high-quality and soft silicone, the cover is pleasant to the touch, and at the same time underlines the design of the phone itself.

The cover precisely hugs his body and protects him not only against various abrasions, but of course also in the event of a fall. In addition, the inner part is made of microfiber, so the phone is literally like cotton in the cover (even if you have a different color than cotton). However, if you were wondering about its susceptibility to dirt, it is minimal. Even after 14 days of testing, it looks fresh.

I'm quite curious what materials were used for the cover and how much of a difference it is compared to the original silicone case on the S22 now that it costs twice as much. The original silicone case on the S22 was a pain in the ass because dust and mess from pockets stuck to it and the case only looked good maybe for the first few minutes after putting it on the phone. Overall, I was disappointed with the quality of the original cases on the S22. Samsung has a lot to improve in this area.

Samsung has always had quality original cases, I was very satisfied with the Clear View case on the S20FE, but then I had in my hand the 14mm thick Clear View cases on the A33 and S23 and one big misery, I don't understand why and it's a shame...
