Samsung has officially launched the new models of the series Galaxy A. As journalists, we were already able to properly touch them and find out the differences from the previous generation, but also what impression they make on us live. After the really positive Fr Galaxy The A54 5G is the next lower-end model Galaxy A34 5G. It's not that much fame here.
Here, too, it has been improved in all respects, if you don't take the loss of the depth camera as something negative. Its features have mainly been replaced by software advancements, so its presence has become somewhat redundant. AND Galaxy The A34 5G clearly refers to the series Galaxy The S23's triple-camera rear design, however, does not have a glass back, but classic plastic, although Samsung says it recycles a lot here as well.

Despite that, you can see that a lot of work has been done on the design, because it just looks good. The plastic is not glaring and the steel edging around the cameras helps everything. Not that I didn't like the design of the previous series, but this one clearly puts it in the pocket. The colors are graphite, lime, purple and silver, which is the most interesting of the whole quartet. This is mainly because it changes its hue depending on how the light falls on it. It is unusual, unusual, interesting and pleasant.

Bigger and brighter display
The display has grown to 6,6 inches, so it is the same size as it should be Galaxy S23+, although of course it doesn't have the specifications for it. We jumped from 90 Hz to 120 Hz, so everything is smoother, even if it's still just a fix, the battery lasts a while even with the new Always-On display, which the previous model didn't have (it's 5000mAh again). Brightness jumped from 800 to 1000 nits. Everything is a little surprising on the Dimensity 1080. However, there were no problems with the test samples, as the review will show in reality.

It is clear that Galaxy The A34 5G is a poorer relative of the higher model. He doesn't play around and fully acknowledges his position, but is disadvantaged by his price. After all, there are a lot of those restrictions from the higher model, and the price is only minimally lower. The 128GB base with 6GB of RAM will cost you a whopping 9 CZK, while the 499GB version with 256GB of RAM will cost you 8 CZK. It's a lot and it's a shame, it would need to get to just over 10k to be acceptable.
