Galaxy A54 5G a Galaxy The A34 5G is very similar to its predecessors. They differ from each other only in some details, which, however, may be important for someone. Let's start with the display. The first mentioned "A" is equipped with a Super AMOLED display with a diagonal of 6,4 inches, a resolution of FHD+ (1080 x 2340 px), an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz (it alternates with a frequency of 60 Hz as needed) and a peak brightness of 1000 nits, while its sibling it has a 6,6-inch screen of the same type with the same resolution, a fixed refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1000 nits. Compared to its predecessor, it offers the Always-on Display function.

It's hard to say why Samsung chose the display Galaxy A54 5G smaller compared to its predecessor (specifically by 0,1 inch) and Galaxy A34 5G, on the contrary, make it larger (specifically by 0,2 inches). Design
In terms of design, Galaxy The A54 5G has a flat display with a now rather outdated circular hole and, unlike its predecessor, slightly more symmetrical (though not completely thin) frames. The back is fitted with three separate cameras, a design that all Samsung smartphones this year have and will have. The back is made of glass and has a glossy finish, which gives the phone a premium look. Available in black, white, purple and lime.

It's made of a highly polished plastic that Samsung refers to as Glasstic. It comes in silver, black, purple and lime, with the former boasting a prismatic back color effect and a rainbow effect. This can also be one of the reasons to give preference to him.
Specifications
As for the specifications, Galaxy The A54 5G is slightly better than its sibling. It is powered by Samsung's new Exynos 1380 chipset, supported by 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of expandable internal memory. Galaxy The A34 5G uses a slightly slower (by less than 10% according to various benchmarks) Dimensity 1080 chip, which complements 6 GB of operating system and 128 or 256 GB of expandable internal memory.
The battery has the same capacity for both phones – 5000 mAh, which supports 25W fast charging. As with their predecessors, Samsung promises a two-day battery life on a single charge.
Cameras
Galaxy The A54 5G has a 50MP main camera, which is complemented by a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5MP macro camera. The front camera is 32 megapixels. Galaxy In contrast, the A34 5G has slightly weaker parameters – a 48MP main camera, an 8MP wide-angle camera, a 5MP macro camera and a 13MP selfie camera.

The cameras of both phones have improved focusing, improved optical stabilization and a Nightography mode that allows you to take sharper and more detailed photos in poor lighting conditions. As for videos, both of them can record up to 4K at 30 fps.

It follows from the above that Galaxy A54 5G a Galaxy The A34 5G really only differs in the details. The question of which one to buy is not so easy to answer. However, we would rather lean towards Galaxy A34 5G, mainly because of its larger display and "sexy" silver color variant. Compared to its sibling, it lacks nothing essential (perhaps it's just a shame that it doesn't have a glass back like it, they look really very good) and it's also expectedly cheaper (specifically, its price starts at 9 CZK, while Galaxy A54 5G for CZK 11). Both phones will go on sale here from March 999.
