In February, Starlink customers began receiving invitations to a new global roaming plan that, according to Elon Musk's company, "allows you to connect to the Internet from almost anywhere in the world." Today, the company announced that it is expanding the new service – new and existing customers can now sign up for it for $200 per month (roughly CZK 4). In addition, the company has renamed its Starlink RV service to Starlink Roam, with the new regional plan costing $500 per month in the US.

Neither plan is exactly cheap, but for customers in areas where mobile internet service isn't available, they could be some of the better options. In addition to the monthly fee, Starlink charges a one-time fee for its hardware, with a basic satellite costing $599 (about CZK 13). For more demanding customers, the company offers a satellite that can also be used on the move. However, it costs significantly more - $500 (approximately CZK 2).

The second mentioned service is also available here (in addition to the standard Starlink service). It costs CZK 1 per month, while the one-time fee for technical equipment will cost CZK 700 (the mentioned more advanced satellite is not available here). More information can be found here page. In a different way, Starlink has been operating here since the end of last year.
