No matter how great a manufacturer's software support might be, sooner or later it just ends. Samsung originally only provided the usual two years of updates before switching to three and now four years of major system updates and 5 years of security updates. Which of his devices, however, will no longer receive the new version Androidu 14 and One IU 6.0?

In short, a series Galaxy The S21 (including the S21 FE) and every S flagship that came after it is eligible for four OS updates. The same applies to the series models Galaxy Z, Galaxy A33, Galaxy A53, Galaxy A73 and newer, i.e. logically also current A-series news. Then there is a range of scarier devices, which are still of sufficient quality and can cope with modern times without problems, but the new system will not be available for them. Of course, this doesn't mean the end of the world, as these devices will continue to work, they just won't get any other new system features.

These Samsung devices already Android 14 they don't get:

  • Galaxy S10 Lite
  • Galaxy S20FE
  • Galaxy S20 / Galaxy S20+ / Galaxy S20Ultra
  • Galaxy 10 Lite notes
  • Galaxy Note 20 / Galaxy Notes 20 Ultra
  • Galaxy Z Flip (LTE/5G)
  • Galaxy ZFold2
  • Galaxy A22 (LTE/5G)
  • Galaxy A32 (LTE/5G)
  • Galaxy A51
  • Galaxy A71
  • Galaxy Tab A8
  • Galaxy Tab A7 Lite
  • Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2020)

Google Android 14 will officially launch in May at its Google I/O event. He could release a sharp version for Pixel phones sometime in August, when manufacturers will start working on their superstructures right after that. It can be expected that they will be the first from the Samsung portfolio Android 14 series phones Galaxy S23, the older flagships of the S series and the upcoming ones will follow Galaxy From Fold5 a Galaxy From Flip5. Following last year's trend, it is likely that Samsung will update all supported devices by the end of December.
