Now that the developer versions are out Androidu 14, we're learning more and more about what to expect from the next version of Google's operating system. Now it has come to light that Android 14 will come with a small improvement that will come in handy for those who live on the edge, so to speak. This improvement is a "Very low battery" warning when the battery is at the last 2%.

Within Androidon the 13, users receive notifications when battery life drops to 20 and 10%. With this, the system wants to "gently" indicate to them that it is time to turn on the battery saver or use the charger. Although we can certainly consider a 10% battery as almost dead, it may not seem so dead to someone that they stop using the phone. The 2% battery warning will probably give those users a few minutes to send that last text message and (hopefully) get them to finally plug their phones into the charger before they shut down.

Google no more developer version Androidhe has no plans to release 14 (he has released two in total, here the other last week), at least according to what he published schedule. The beta version is due to start rolling out next month, which is expected to last until June. We will most likely see a stable version of the system in August.
