Firefighters in the department of Ain use Galaxy Tab Active3 combined with the Batifire app to make it easier for them to get information about buildings. Through this app and the tablet's integrated camera, they can scan QR codes placed at building entrances to obtain informace about the area where they carry out the intervention. They also use the tablet in conjunction with the Google ARcore platform, which helps them integrate virtual elements into the real work environment.

Galaxy The Tab Active3 boasts IP68 waterproof and dustproof certification and MIL-STD-810H military certification to withstand harsh environments, including extreme humidity, vibration, altitude or freezing. Its other big advantage is that it can be used with gloves, which will come in handy not only for firefighters.

In addition, the tablet has an 8-inch PLS LCD display, an Exynos 9810 chipset, a 13MP camera with automatic focus, a 3,5 mm jack, expandable storage, a fingerprint reader, a battery with a capacity of 5050 mAh and 15W charging, and it also has support for the S Pen and mode DeX.
