Samsung tablet Galaxy The Tab Active3 has another big responsibility, as it is now one of the tools helping the firefighters in the French department of Ain. Samsung supplied a total of 200 of these durable tablets to local firefighters.
Firefighters in the department of Ain use Galaxy Tab Active3 combined with the Batifire app to make it easier for them to get information about buildings. Through this app and the tablet's integrated camera, they can scan QR codes placed at building entrances to obtain informace about the area where they carry out the intervention. They also use the tablet in conjunction with the Google ARcore platform, which helps them integrate virtual elements into the real work environment.
