Huawei launched a new smart watch Watch Ultimate, which could be competition for the series Galaxy Watch5. They attract with a giant display, great endurance and the possibility to dive with them thanks to the water resistance of 100 m.

Huawei Watch The Ultimate features a 1,5-inch LTPO AMOLED display with an adaptive refresh rate between 1-60 Hz. Their case is made of zirconium-based liquid metal, while one of the straps is a new type of hydrogenated nitrile rubber. The bezel is ceramic and the display is protected by sapphire glass. The watch is powered by a 530mAh battery, which, according to the manufacturer, lasts 14 days on a single charge in normal use, and 8 days in active use. The watch supports Qi wireless charging and should charge from 0 to 100% in 60 minutes.

The watch body features sixteen water-resistant structures to withstand the extreme pressure of the deep sea, and also boasts ISO 22810 and EN13319 water resistance certifications, which ensure it can withstand 24 hours of submersion to a depth of 110 meters or 10 ATM.

The watch also boasts an Expedition mode, which was designed specifically for people who enjoy outdoor activities, which uses dual-frequency GNSS positioning capabilities to provide accurate mapping at all times and allow users to set waypoints when deep in the wilderness. Users can also monitor blood oxygen, which can be vital during tough hikes. The watch also has the usual heart rate and ECG sensors.

Huawei Watch The Ultimate will be available in two versions – Expedition Black (with a rubber strap) and Voyage Blue (with a sleek metallic finish) and will go on sale early next month in the UK and continental Europe. Their price will be announced here later (in China they cost 5 or 999 yuan, or about 6 and 999 CZK).
