Less than seven years ago, Google came up with the Wallpaper application (Google Wallpapers), which was available to everyone androidthese smartphones. Now this collection has received several new additions.
As noticed by a website specialized in the American company 9to5Google, Google has updated cover images across six wallpaper categories:
- Compaction: Love, Pixel
- Cityscapes: Cityscapes
- Landscapes: Photo by VictorAerden
- Life: Life
- Solid colors: Soft Violet
- Textures: Textures

Wallpapers sharing the same name have been added to some categories, while the Love and Pixel wallpapers in the Art category are notable for being the default background on the Pixel 5a. Matching the dark green hue of this 2021 mid-range phone, this image is now available on all smartphones running on Androidu.

The American tech giant launched the Wallpaper app on its store in October 2016 alongside the Pixel Launcher for the original Pixel. However, it was made available for all devices with Androidem. Over the years, Google has only very sparingly added new additions to it that affected everyone androidphones and tablets.
