WhatsApp is the most used communication platform in the world, which Meta keeps improving with new and new features and options. Until now, we were used to the fact that what he can do on one platform, he can also do on the other. But the developers of the application are said to be working on a new feature that will allow iPhone users to send short video messages. But not to androids.

BetaInfo found a new option hidden in the beta version of WhatsApp pro iPhone, which is not yet available to users, even those with the beta version installed, indicating that WhatsApp is still working on it. Even so, they were able to turn it on in WABetaInfo and find out what it can actually do. Basically, it works almost the same as Telegram's short video messages.

This will make sending video messages on WhatsApp as easy as sending audio messages. Users can simply tap and hold the button to record a video of up to 60 seconds. Once the video is sent, it will appear in the chat and play automatically. Another interesting detail is that these short video messages are end-to-end encrypted and cannot be saved or forwarded, even if screenshots are enabled.

Unfortunately, it is not clear when WhatsApp plans to release this functionality. But what is certain is that the same beta application for the platform Android does not offer this novelty at all. So it is quite possible that it will be exclusively for Apple platforms. On Android so we could expect it at least with a certain interval of some time.
