With spring upon us, YouTube Music is now releasing its 2022-2023 Winter Recaps with some nice changes from the previous ones. If you open the YouTube Music app, you might be greeted with a message: Your Winter Recap is here. After you tap I want a Recap, a Follow button will appear along with a link to Google Photos and Music Photo Album.

If you select Watch, the app will take you through a series of slides featuring your top winter artists, top winter songs and genres, followed by an overall recap, including the duration of the Recap. Each step can be shared as a picture to share your winter music experiences with your friends and acquaintances.

In the main menu of the application, if you scroll further, the playlists of your Recap will appear, specifically Winter Recap '23 and recap 2022. You can work with playlists in the classic way, i.e. save them to your device, play them or share them. Even the additional menu is typical and allows for random playback, starting the radio, editing the playlist and the like.

If you choose to link to Google Photos on the main page of the app, it will allow you to display your best songs with favorite images from your personal library. For now, it's not entirely clear if this YouTube Music feature is rolled out across the board. Overall, however, it looks very pleasant iOS i na Androidu. After the end of the winter season, YouTube Music thus offers the opportunity to look back at the past months. The app is available on the Google Play Store for Android and on the App Store for iOS.
