Samsung's current flagship series Galaxy The S23 offers impressive camera performance, but it had a few minor issues that needed to be addressed. Several recent reports have claimed that the Korean giant is about to release a major update that will improve the camera performance of its current flagships. And that just happened now.

New update for Galaxy The S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra are indeed huge in size – roughly 923MB – and Samsung was the first to release it in South Korea. It comes with a firmware version S91xNKSU1AWC8. And what makes everything better?

First and foremost, Samsung has improved the speed and accuracy of autofocus along with the speed of the camera app. In addition, the sharpness of the ultra-wide-angle camera in low-light conditions and the stability of the camera application when moving subjects are in the frame have been improved. Last but not least, the Korean giant has improved the performance of the optical image stabilization and solved some bugs, including the one that sometimes showed a green line on the left side when using the rear camera in photo mode, or the one where facial recognition did not work after ending a video call using a third-party application. The Gallery application has also been improved, which now allows you to immediately delete the pictures you have just taken and processed.

The new update should reach more countries in the coming days. If you are the owner Galaxy S23, S23+ or S23 Ultra, you can check its availability by navigating to Settings→Software Update and tap the option Download and install.
