Samsung protects its phones, tablets and laptops from malware, viruses and other cyber threats with a pre-installed McAfee antivirus solution. This solution comes with every modern device Galaxy and will continue to be pre-installed on the Korean giant's phones, tablets and laptops for at least the next nine years.

As the website reports Business Wire, Samsung and McAfee have renewed their partnership and extended it for nine years. Advice Galaxy S23, notebooks Galaxy Book3 and older devices Galaxy thus, they will be protected from various cyberthreats until at least 2032. Samsung and McAfee last extended their collaboration in 2018 in anticipation of the release of a series of Galaxy S9. Built-in antivirus scanner now on devices Galaxy can be found in Settings→Battery and device care→Device protection.

The scanner works in the background and your device Galaxy checks regularly, so there is no need to run regular manual checks to protect your phone, tablet or laptop from threats while browsing the web, using social media apps or online banking apps. McAfee claims its solution blocks 22 threats every minute, while discovering 250 new and unique threats in the same time period. It currently protects more than 537 million devices in 600 countries.
