Nearby Share feature in the sharing menu
The Nearby Share feature is androidApple's equivalent of AirDrop, which lets you share files wirelessly and locally. However, if you want to share a file, you have to go all the way to the Files or Photos app, select the file you want, and then select the option to send via Nearby Share. Android 14 addresses this annoyance by adding Nearby Share to the share menu, meaning that if you take a screenshot, you can instantly share it via Nearby Share right from the preview menu.
The first Samsung phones and tablets should start receiving the One UI 6.0 update sometime in the 4th quarter of this year. The Korean giant usually releases a beta version of the latest Androidu just after Google released its final version. This means you can expect an open beta program for z Androidu 14 coming One UI 6.0 superstructure around August.
