Here is a list of Samsung devices that received a software update in the week of May 1-5. Particulary speaking about Galaxy S23, Galaxy S22, Galaxy Footnote20, Galaxy M53 5G, Galaxy A52 5G, Galaxy A33 5G, Galaxy A23, Galaxy From Flip3, Galaxy From Fold2 a Galaxy Table S8.

Samsung has started issuing the May security patch to all the mentioned devices. At the row Galaxy The S23 carries an updated firmware version S91xBXXS1AWD1 and it was the first to arrive in Poland and some other European countries, among others Galaxy S22 (Snapdragon chip version) version S90xEXXS4CWD5 and was the first to be available in Brazil, next to the line Galaxy Note20 (5G version) version N98xBXXS6HWE2 and was also the first to arrive in Brazil, u Galaxy M53 5G version M536BXXS2CWD1 and was the first to "land" in Mexico, Panama, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile and Peru, u Galaxy A52 5G version A526BXXS3EWD8In Galaxy A33 5G version A336MUBS4CWD4In Galaxy A23 version A235FXXS2CWD1 and was the first to arrive, among others, in Germany, Armenia or Ukraine, u Galaxy From Flip3 version F711BXXS4EWD9 and was the first to be made available in some Central and South American countries, u Galaxy From the Fold2 version F916BXXS2JWE1 and was also the first to arrive in some Central and South American countries and in the tablet line Galaxy Tab S8 version Xx06BXXU4BWD8 and was the first to appear in some European countries. Included in the update for Galaxy S23 could be a fix for the rest problem with a camera.

The May security patch fixes a total of 72 vulnerabilities discovered in phones and tablets Galaxy. Six of them were classified by Samsung as critical, while 56 were classified as highly dangerous. The remaining ten were moderately dangerous. Two of the fixes included in Google's new security patch have already been patched by the Korean giant and released in a past security update, while one fix offered by the US giant does not apply to Samsung devices.

Some of the vulnerabilities discovered in phones and tablets Galaxy were found in the FactoryTest function, ActivityManagerService, theme managers, GearManagerStub, and the Tips application. Security flaws were also found in the Shannon modem found in Exynos chipsets, the bootloader, the Telephony framework, call setup components or AppLock's access control.
