We have already informed you about how Samsung is preparing an update for its line Galaxy S23, which is supposed to fix the rather oddly behaving HDR mode. But it looks like the company will offer its customers one rather useful upgrade as an apology. Taking photos and recording videos will be a little more creative with it.

The moderator of the Samsung forum, who is in charge of the camera industry, mentioned that the next update will bring the ability to take portrait photos in 2x zoom (it should be an update that will just bring the HDR fix). Now only 23x and 1x zoom are available in portrait mode in the S3 series. This novelty will therefore have the advantage when taking photos in that you do not have to be so close to the object or, on the contrary, so far from it.

When this news will come, it was not specifically said, but it is expected with a monthly update. However, it is another bonus that many will certainly take advantage of. Of course, the question of quality arises here, because in this case the result will be a cut-out of the photo, which will then be added to the necessary MPx. It does the same, e.g. Apple with their iPhone 14 Pro, but also for regular photography, not just portraits. He also uses a cutout from his 48 MPx camera for this. Let's just hope that the whole series gets this news Galaxy S23, not just the Ultra model, which of course has the best possible optics for it, if we were to talk about the cutout from the 200MPx camera. With the exception of double zoom for portraits, we will also see the same zoom for video.
