We actually knew in advance that Google would present the Pixel Fold at its Google I/O event. The company itself revealed it on social networks. But if the Pixel Fold is to be a competitor for Samsung's Folds, it has quite special equipment and an even more special distribution. The South Korean manufacturer can actually stay calm.

Google Tensor G2, 7,6" 2208 x1840 120Hz primary OLED display, 5,8" 2092 x 1080 120Hz OLED external display, 12GB RAM, 8MPx internal, 9,5MPx external selfie cameras and 48MPx main camera, 10,8MPx 5x telephoto lens and 10,8MPx ultra-wide-angle lens. These are the main parameters of the new Google Fold. In addition to this, there is an extreme weight of 283 g.

It's the first generation of Google's flexible device, so miracles can't be expected. But the parameters don't have to look so bad on paper. Worse, the whole thing feels more like an experiment than a serious assault on the puzzle segment. This is due not only to the price, which is 1 dollars, i.e. some 799 CZK, to which we will have to add tax, but also to the senselessly limited distribution. The Pixel Fold will only be sold in four countries around the world.

Specifically, these are the domestic United States, as well as Great Britain, Germany and Japan. We could do better with the price in Germany, where it is set at EUR 1, i.e. a high CZK 899.
