Here is a list of Samsung devices that received a software update during the week of May 8-12. Specifically, it is about Galaxy S21, Galaxy S20, Galaxy Footnote10, Galaxy S20 FE, Galaxy A73 5G, Galaxy A53 5G, Galaxy A23 5G, Galaxy A13, Galaxy From Fold4, Galaxy From Flip4, Galaxy From Fold3 and Galaxy Table S7.

Samsung has started issuing the May security patch to all the mentioned devices. At the row Galaxy The S21 carries an updated firmware version G99xBXXU7EWE1 and was the first to arrive in some European countries including Hungary, Bulgaria and Švýcarska, next to the line Galaxy S20 version G98xFXXSGHWD4 and it was the first to appear in some countries of South America, in a row Galaxy Note10 version N97xNKSU2HWD2 and was the first to be available in South Korea, u Galaxy S20 FE version G780GXXU4EWD2 and was the first to "land" in Russia, u Galaxy A73 5G version A736BXXS3CWE1 and was the first to arrive in Brazil, u Galaxy A53 5G version A536EXXS5CWE1 and was the first to be made available in, among others, Brazil, Argentina or Panama, u Galaxy A23 5G version A236BXXS3CWD4 and was the first to be available in the Czech Republic or Poland, u Galaxy A13 version A135MUBS3BWD2 and was the first to arrive in Colombia and Paraguay, u Galaxy From Foldu4 version F936BXXS2CWD9 and was the first to appear in some South American countries, u Galaxy From Flip4 version F721BXXS2CWD9 and was also the first to arrive in South America, u Galaxy From Foldu3 version F926BXXS3EWD9 and was the first to be made available, among others, in Mexico, Panama, Peru or Trinidad and Tobago and in the tablet line Galaxy Tab S7 version Tx76BXXU3DWD3 and was the first to arrive in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, among otherscarska or Bulgaria. The May security patch fixes a total of 72 vulnerabilities discovered in phones and tablets Galaxy. Six of them were classified by Samsung as critical, while 56 were classified as highly dangerous. The remaining ten were moderately dangerous. Two of the fixes included in Google's new security patch have already been patched by the Korean giant and released in a past security update, while one fix offered by the US giant does not apply to Samsung devices.

Some of the vulnerabilities discovered in phones and tablets Galaxy were found in the FactoryTest function, ActivityManagerService, theme managers, GearManagerStub, and the Tips application. Security flaws were also found in the Shannon modem found in Exynos chipsets, the bootloader, the Telephony framework, call setup components or AppLock's access control.
