Samsung phones offer creative ways of taking photos mainly thanks to the variability of their cameras, but also many functions. Of course, they can also take such serial photos, just as they can create an animated GIF. So, how to create a GIF on Samsung is quite simple.

How to take a burst photo

By default on your phone Galaxy in the Camera app, all you have to do is press the camera trigger, hold it and drag it downwards in the portrait interface or right or left if you have a landscape interface. The result is then saved to your gallery as a sequence from which you can use individual images.

However, you can replace the continuous shooting function with the automatic creation of a GIF animation. To do this, open the application Camera and at the top left tap on Settings. In the section Pictures then select an option By pulling the Shutter button. Just select an offer here Create a GIF.

With this setup, you can now drag the shutter button downwards to start creating a GIF animation. The number on the trigger will then tell you how many frames the GIF will have. After the scanning is finished, you will find the result in the Gallery, where it will be in a resolution of 480 x 640 pixels and appropriately compressed so that it is as little data-intensive as possible. So you should be able to comfortably share it wherever you see fit.

How to export a GIF from a sequence

If you've already created a sequence and want to turn it into a GIF, you can. Open it for that in Gallery, tap on the offer of three dots and select GIF. After the conversion, you can still trim the sequence and edit it in other ways. If you put in the upper right Impose, so you export it. However, the sequences created in this way are more data intensive, usually due to the fact that more photos are taken, although they are also compressed and adjusted to a final resolution of 480 x 640 pixels.
