Flex phone shipments peaked in Q3 last year, when all manufacturers combined reported more than 500% growth, with shipments exceeding 6 million. Since then, they have declined year-over-year in two consecutive quarters. And in the first quarter of this year, manufacturers shipped only 2,1 million jigsaws to the market. This was announced on Twitter by a well-known leaker in the field of mobile displays and the head of Display Supply Chain Consultants Ross young.

Samsung has maintained its lead in the flexible phone market. However, its share in terms of deliveries fell to the second-lowest level on record at 1% in Q45. Its share decreased by 38 percentage points quarter-on-quarter. Oppo finished in second place with a share of 21%. The first three largest players in this field are rounded off by Huawei with a 20% share.

He was the most popular "bender" in the period in question Galaxy From Flip4, whose share was 27%. He was surprisingly not followed by a sibling Galaxy From Fold4, but Pocket S from Huawei, which "bite off" a 15% share. The aforementioned fourth Fold finished behind him with a loss of two percentage points. The fourth in the order was the Oppo Find N2 with 11 percent, and the top five of the most popular jigsaws in the first three months of this year is rounded off by another representative of the former Chinese smartphone giant, the Mate X3, with 6 percent.

It will be very interesting to watch the next quarters, as other manufacturers, including Google, plan to launch their foldable smartphones. He should specifically have his own puzzle Pixel Fold put on sale at the end of June. New Samsung puzzles are then expected at the end of July.
