Samsung's vice president and head of the digital health team, Hon Pak, said earlier this week that the Samsung Health app now has 64 million monthly active users worldwide. This number is helped in its annual growth mainly by the watch line Galaxy Watch and according to Hon, among the app's most popular features is na Galaxy Watch sleep tracking.

The popularity of the sleep tracking feature on Galaxy Watch is the reason Samsung wants the One UI watch face Watch update with better tools for tracking users' sleep patterns. At the beginning of May, the company announced that the upcoming One UI superstructure Watch 5 will bring improved informace about sleep and better sleep coaching features.

Number of users Galaxy Watch, who use the sleep tracking feature, will double from 2022, according to Hon. Half of the users Galaxy Watch say they use sleep trackers every week, while 40% at least three times a week.

One of the biggest changes that the One UI superstructure Watch 5 will bring, will be Sleep Coaching. More precisely, the Korean giant wants to make this function, which helps users create better sleeping habits, available directly on the smart watch. It is now available in the Samsung Health app for phones only Galaxy.

One UI extension Watch 5 will make its debut in the watch series Galaxy Watch6, which should be staged at the end July.
