The beta version of the Samsung Internet web browser recently received an update that brought, among other things, new customization features to allow easier access to URLs, bookmarks and tab bars on large screens and tablets. These features have now arrived in the stable version of the app.

Samsung Internet version 21.0.0.41 is now available in the store Galaxy Store, with it expected to arrive on the Google Play Store soon. The biggest change here is for tablet users. For some time now, the browser has offered the option to move the URL/address bar to the bottom of the screen for easier access, and this option is now also available on tablets.

For some reason, this option was exclusive to phones for quite some time, but that is finally changing. In addition to relocating the address bar, the update also allows the bookmark and tab bars to be moved down on both phones and tablets. Previously, the bookmark and tab bars could only be located at the top of the screen and were blocked if the address bar moved down.

Although Samsung doesn't mention it in the changelog, the new version of the browser also brings important improvements for those who open many tabs in it. The app will now alert users when they approach the 99-card limit, as opening the 100th card will automatically close the oldest card. And even though the oldest tab will still be closed when you open the 100th tab, there will now be a popup asking if you want to reopen that closed tab.
