Samsung has introduced a new line of smart monitors for 2023. The new Smart Monitor M8, M7 and M5 models (model names M80C, M70C and M50C) allow users to customize a range of functions to their own needs and preferences, depending on whether the monitor is used for watching movies, gaming or work. Of the new monitors, the M50C model is already being sold in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Smart Monitor M8 (M80C) has a 32-inch flat screen, 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 px), refresh rate 60 Hz, brightness 400 cd/m2, a contrast ratio of 3000:1, a response time of 4 ms and support for the HDR10+ format. In terms of connectivity, it offers one HDMI connector (2.0), two USB-A connectors and one USB-C connector (65W). The equipment includes speakers with a power of 5 W and a webcam Slim Fit Camera. Being a smart monitor, it offers smart features such as VOD (Netflix, YouTube, etc.), Gaming Hub, Workspace, My Contents mobile connection and Google Meet video communication service. It is available in white, pink, blue and green.

Finally, the Smart Monitor M5 (M50C) got a flat screen with a diagonal of 32 or 27 inches, FHD resolution (1920 x 1080 px), refresh rate of 60 Hz, brightness of 250 cd/m2, a contrast ratio of 3000:1, a response time of 4 ms and support for the HDR10 format. Connectivity includes two HDMI (1.4) connectors and two USB-A connectors. Like the other models, this one has 5W speakers and the same smart features. It is offered in white and black.
