Samsung has actually launched an online pet care store on its website in South Korea to help SmartThings users choose the right smart home products and appliances for them. The company says it will also sell pet supplies.

Although Samsung doesn't really have that many smart home products designed exclusively for pets, several appliances and smart devices that support the SmartThings platform also offer certain features for owners of those who live in a household with some animals. For example, the Bespoke Jetbot AI can use its built-in camera to monitor the status of animal companions in real time. Bespoke Wind-Free air conditioning can adjust the temperature and humidity of the air to the specific breed of your dog. The Bespoke Grande washing machine also has a mode that removes stains, allergens and odors caused by pets.

In addition, Samsung says that in the second half of 2023, it will expand its pet care business with a consulting program that will offer animal education and training services in collaboration with experts in pet food and other pet solutions. To complement its existing line of smart home devices equipped with pet features, Samsung is partnering with Aqara to sell a smart "feeder." With it, you can remotely manage the amount of food via the SmartThings platform and provide your pets with an optimized nutrition plan even when you are not at home.

Phone and tablet users Galaxy can access these features through the SmartThings mobile app by going to the “Life” tab and going to the “Pet CarE". After all, this function is available everywhere, not only in South Korea, and therefore also here (see gallery above). But it is not really likely that we will see a similar offer in our region.
