Here is a list of Samsung devices that received a software update during the week of May 22-26. Specifically, it is about Galaxy S20 FE, Galaxy A42 5G, Galaxy A34 5G, Galaxy M31, Galaxy A21S, Galaxy A14 5G, Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G a Galaxy Tab S6 Lite.

Samsung has started rolling out the May security patch to all of the above devices. AT Galaxy The S20 FE carries an updated firmware version G781BXXS5HWD4 and was the first to arrive in Europe, u Galaxy A42 5G version A426BXXU5DWE1 and was the first to be made available in, among others, the Czech Republic, Slovakia or Poland, u Galaxy A34 5G version A346BXXU2AWE2 and was the first to appear in Europe, in Galaxy M31 version M315FXXS3CWD1 and was the first to "land" in India or Nepal, u Galaxy A21s version A217MUBUADWE2 and was the first to arrive in Argentina, u Galaxy A14 5G version A146BXXU2BWE1 and was the first to be made available in India and Sri Lanka, u Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G version T736BXXS3CWE1 and was the first to be available across Europe and Galaxy Tab S6 Lite version P615XXS5FWD2 and was the first to appear in, among other places, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

The May security patch fixes a total of 72 vulnerabilities discovered in phones and tablets Galaxy. Six of them were classified by Samsung as critical, while 56 were classified as highly dangerous. The remaining ten were moderately dangerous. Two of the fixes included in Google's new security patch have already been patched by the Korean giant and released in a past security update, while one fix offered by the US giant does not apply to Samsung devices.

Some of the vulnerabilities discovered in phones and tablets Galaxy were found in the FactoryTest function, ActivityManagerService, theme managers, GearManagerStub, and the Tips application. Security flaws were also found in the Shannon modem found in Exynos chipsets, the bootloader, the Telephony framework, call setup components or AppLock's access control.
