Smart Android the phones don't have a battery health feature similar to the iPhone, which displays its maximum remaining capacity compared to the original. Samsung shows the battery status in the Samsung Members app, but it doesn't show the exact percentage of remaining capacity like it can iPhone. In a system Android 14, however, Google added new features that could to phones and tablets running the system Android, so even Samsung's, bring these detailed statistics.

Expert on Android Mishaal Rahman revealed that Google has added to the BatteryManager API in the system Android 14 new options. These allow devices to report in more detail informace about battery health, including the number of charge cycles, charging policy, charging status, date of first use, date of manufacture and overall battery health. However, these new APIs are currently only available on Pixel devices running the system Android 14 Beta 2 (or later).

However, the data depends on the capabilities of the charging chip (the chip that controls the charging of the device's battery) and the hardware abstraction layer (HAL), so of course the accuracy may vary depending on the smartphone or tablet. The battery health stats shown in the image above are via the Batt app, which uses the new BatteryHealth API. It is possible that Samsung therefore these new APIs in the system Android 14 will use One UI 6.0 in its interface so that users can have a better overview of the state of their battery on the device Galaxy. And that's definitely good news.
