System Wear OS 3 is coming to another ultra-premium smartwatch. Specifically, the Big Bang e Gen 3 from Hublot, which costs $5 (approx. CZK 400). Considering their extremely high price, it is surprising that they are powered by an outdated Snapdragon chipset Wear 4100 +.

The Hublot Bing Bang e Gen 3 watch continues the series launched in 2020. Compared to previous generations, it offers a fresh and sleek design in Black Magic and White Ceramic color variants.

The watch's 44mm case is made of "microblasted and polished ceramic" to create a textured look. According to the manufacturer, this ceramic construction was chosen for its durability and ability to "stand the test of time". The watch is also water resistant to 3 ATM (30m) and uses a sapphire crystal to protect the 1,39-inch AMOLED display.

The strap is made of rubber, but it can be replaced with another one with a proprietary connector, as there is a button to quickly switch them. In a video on their website, Hublot shows several color variants of the strap, but these are not yet available for sale.

The Big Bang e Gen 3 is also Hublot's first smartwatch with Wear OS 3 that brings new features, a bunch of new watch faces and a new app to pair them. Given the above, it is surprising that they use the now outdated Snapdragon chipset Wear 4100+, and not the new Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 that powers the Tic watchWatch Pro 5. Hublot Big Bang e Gen 3 are already on sale and can be bought at site manufacturer.
