So after a long time of nothing, this week Samsung finally got it going. After a row Galaxy S22 issues Android 14 with One UI 6.0 even for this year's top mid-range model, that is Galaxy A54. But so far only in the US.
The update is being specifically rolled out by AT&T, but it can be expected that others will follow, as well as other markets. They should arrive by the end of the month. Galaxy The A54 is a very well-equipped phone with an ideal price/performance ratio and this is the first major update it's getting. Samsung promises it three more versions Androidu. However, internal testing of One UI 6.0 started on the phone already in June of this year.
The highest built model of the series Galaxy And it shows the right step of how the technologies should be from the highest models, i.e. the series Galaxy S, take over to the lower ranks. The Super AMOLED display is a 6,4" FHD+ specification with an adaptive refresh rate. It starts at 60 Hz and ends at 120 Hz. The maximum brightness has increased to 1 nits compared to its predecessor, Vision Booster technology is also present. The dimensions of the device are 000 x 158,2 x 76,7 mm and the weight is 8,2 g, so the novelty is lower, wider and has gained a little in thickness and weight. If your device is already offered an update, don't hesitate to write it to us in the comments to the article.
so by all means, who will get to the A54 first? ;-D
Yesterday, actually the day before yesterday, I ordered (after 5 years a new phone and for the first time Samsung), now I read the shipping confirmation in the email, I will pick it up tomorrow.
So, I will be surprised if I will be waiting for an upgrade to the new software with such great pleasure for the coming days.
Anyway, since I'm currently running on a phone with Android ver. 9, it will still be a huge leap (by that I mean the hardware and the overall shift in parameters - somehow I didn't keep up with the times).
My wife has verified on the A52 that we can rely on Samsung, so I'm really looking forward to it.
I think it will - I ran out of ONE UI 6 just now 😉
