Petr Miller has been working for the immigration office in London for many years. The well-established rhythm of his life is interrupted one day by a strange phone call from Prague. A single mother who named him as her child's guardian in an emergency is in the hospital after a car accident. Ema is his daughter. Peter is completely shocked. It must be some mistake. He has no children and does not wish to have them. Still, he can't just wave his hand over the situation. What if Ema is really his daughter and he is her only chance to avoid the orphanage? For a guy who was used to living alone until the age of fifty and definitely doesn't want to complicate his life with emotions, cohabitation with an eight-year-old girl literally turns his life upside down. And on top of that, a non-negotiable social worker is on his heels, so Petr has to make a crucial decision: If he wants to become a legal parent, he needs to find a mother for Emma! At the same time, he meets Maria, who, like Petr, lives for her work and has almost lost hope that she will meet the ordinary joys of life. Marie decides to help both of them. It is necessary to present a believable story to the merciless clerk. The game of love begins... But how will it end? Even miracles sometimes happen.

Christmas time can bring wonderful stories, funny stories and nostalgia. Will Santa come this year? is the story of two families who decided that Christmas is simply about doing good deeds, making wishes come true at any cost, and for not only children to believe in miracles. Charming 60-year-old José (Josef Abrhám) returns to his native Prague after thirty years of emigration in Mexico. He succumbs to the insistence of his Mexican wife Dolores. She believes that the last hope for their daughter Penélope, who is trying in vain to get pregnant, is a miracle that could be performed by the famous Virgin Mary of Prague before Christmas. José is worried about returning because he knows very well that he could bring unexpected surprises. They take the form of his old friend Rudy (Václav Postránecký), who likes to manipulate everyone, but especially his former love Květa (Libuše Šafránková) and her large, special family, led by her son Michal (Igor Chmela). The birthplace prepares José for a series of difficult situations. He will need insight and all his sense of imaginative solutions to get everyone out of trouble. In the end, however, it turns out that each of the members of José's family also hides his own secret, and that in addition to the legendary Jesus of Prague, there are also a number of other beings capable of performing miracles.

Young Charlotte Collier decides to leave the convent, despite her mother warning her of the poor conditions in which they will have to live. They take advantage of the invitation of Mrs. Pinaud, the wife of the district judge, and attend a charity ball. Despite the ridicule with which the judge's daughter Margot honors the poverty of Charlotte and her mother, the girl meets the handsome and sympathetic Count Raoul de Mornay, who has just returned from a long journey. After the ball, her mother warns her that she should look for a groom, but also be careful, because nobles don't marry townspeople's daughters. Despite her words, however, the count immediately asks for Charlotte's hand in marriage. Shortly after the wedding, Raoul's half-brother Philip appears at the castle, built on a high cliff above the sea, and warns Charlotte to leave if she wants to stay alive. The body of a village girl is found under a cliff, and according to an eyewitness who soon died, it was a case of murder.
Snowdrops and moss after 25 years
Professor Karda, who not very successfully runs the Severka tourist lodge in the Giant Mountains, meets his former student Viki Cabadaj, who makes a living as a ski instructor, at the lift. He is divorced, he is in the mountains with his daughter Jana, and when he finds out that Marika's daughter, whom he once unsuccessfully wooed, is visiting Karda's cottage, he suggests to the teacher that he organize a reunion of former classmates at the cottage. And so, after 25 years, the obese Radek, owner of a non-prosperous publishing house, the successful TV entertainer Karel, who also arrives with his son Petr, the childless Soňa and Eva with their two sons, appear at the cottage. Although Viky is disappointed that only a handful of classmates arrive in the end, he still tries to connect with the past and revive memories. Professor Hanka, whom Radek once loved, also arrives in the evening. Bitter notes begin to appear in the memories of past events, caused by the confrontation of a carefree past with bitter life experiences and setbacks in personal or professional life.
