Durable construction
Titanium is a luxurious durable material that will make your device last longer, even if you don't handle it with gloves and ignore the available covers. We're still waiting for drop tests, but if nothing else, it looks just great, which you'll feel right away. And then there is Gorilla Armor, i.e. the most durable glass in a smartphone (p Androidem), which also has the function of reducing light glare.

Flat display with high brightness
Samsung finally got rid of the impractical fad in the form of curved display on its sides. It might have looked nice, but it was useless. Unsuitable for S Pen, also for watching videos, because there was distortion. In addition, thanks to the new shape, the covers will not only fit better, but also better protect the device, if that is necessary with the titanium frame and glass armor. And the brightness of 2600 nits is simply fantastic.

50MPx 5x telephoto lens
Many see it as a downgrade, but if you compare photos from 10x zoom Galaxy S23 Ultra and 5x the iPhone 15 Pro Max, Samsung is right that less is sometimes more. In addition, we won't lose the 10x zoom, because it will be present further on, but there will be a bit of software zigzagging here. Even so, the company says that 10x photos from Galaxy S24 Ultra are better than those of Galaxy S23 Ultra. We'll see how it will turn out in reality, however, the new camera is clearly better on paper, it just doesn't see that far.

7-year support
When you buy today Galaxy S24 Ultra, so in 7 years you will still have the latest Android. Now you get Android 14, so you end up at Androidu 21. If you get any other Samsung now, you just won't get this far. So if longevity is important to you, it's an obvious choice. In addition, with the included equipment, it can be said that Galaxy The S24 Ultra lasts a really long time.
Galaxy AI
It doesn't make much sense to buy a new Samsung flagship if you want it primarily for the new AI features that Samsung calls Galaxy AI. These are not exclusive to the just introduced series and will also look at older models such as the series Galaxy S23 (and even Galaxy S23 FE), Galaxy Z Fold5 or Z Flip5. And because the line Galaxy S23 will start to get cheaper, you might get paid more.
Still the same design
We have a flat display here, but otherwise it's still the same song that the model already played Galaxy S22 Ultra. It's not exactly bad, it's Samsung's own and has made its way into the entire portfolio, but it would need some bigger and, at first glance, more noticeable change. The novelty is still easily confused with last year's and the previous year's version by a less knowledgeable customer.

50MPx 5x telephoto lens
Many take it as a downgrade, and for many it will also be a downgrade, and they cannot explain it in any way. It's hard to believe that digital loops can achieve such quality as optics. It is therefore quite possible that those who fell in love with shooting with a 10x telephoto lens simply will not want to switch to a 5x zoom and take 10x photos "only" digitally. The big question here is how light sensitivity will be.
Slow charging and no Qi2
45W wired charging is top notch Androidu simply not enough (we can reach 60% in 30 minutes). However, one can turn a blind eye to the 5 mAh capacity. 000W wireless is probably not a problem, but there is still support only for Qi, not for Qi15, which will begin to spread widely this year not only in accessories but also Android phones. Advice Galaxy The S24 could have been the first Androidem with this standard but missed the opportunity. So we will all have to buy covers with magnetic accessories in order to be able to use the number of accessories that expand the possibilities of phones.

Is it a lot or a little? The basic 256GB version is CZK 500 more expensive than last year, but the higher specifications have become significantly cheaper. In addition, you can save a lot in the pre-sale because you get more storage for a lower price or you can use the bonus from buying an old device.
