First update of the series Galaxy S24 and its One UI 6.1 extensions have finally arrived in the Czech Republic. We installed it in the model Galaxy S24 Ultra and tried the new color vibrancy adjustment. On the face of it, we can say that you don't really know the difference anyway.
Maybe it was dealt with unnecessarily too much. Regardless of the intensity of the colors, the displays of the series models are Galaxy S24 the best across the entire mobile market. However, since a significant percentage of users complained that they would like more saturated colors, Samsung added this option to them with the new update. And that's along with numerous improvements to the camera and the February level of security.

So, if you have already installed the update and want to have the colors of the display a little more saturated, go to the menu Settings -> Display -> Display mode. You can always switch between here Alive a Natural a display that actually looks the same. However, a choice has been added below Advanced settings. If you select it, there is a slider Color intensity, which offers three levels. By moving it to the right, you will get richer and more expressive colors of the display.

But if you don't see this option here, it's because you have the option turned on Adaptive color shade. It uses the front and rear cameras to detect the surrounding conditions and adapt the display to them so that everything looks more natural on it. Personally, I rather prefer this new and rather interesting smart function, which is why I find the whole issue with the color of the display somewhat exaggerated, despite the fact that the difference is still relatively small. It is certainly positive that Samsung hears the complaints of users and tries to accommodate them.
