Samsung launched its new flagship mid-range models today Galaxy A55 a Galaxy A35. If you're wondering about the latter, here's a complete comparison of it to its predecessor Galaxy A34.
Design
Galaxy Compared to its predecessor, the A35 has seen certain design changes. Its display no longer has a teardrop notch, but a circular hole, similar to the A55, and on the right side of the phone, like its sibling, there is a protrusion with recessed physical buttons, which Samsung refers to as the Key Island. As with its predecessor, the rear side is occupied by three separate cameras. And the back and frame are made of plastic just like the A34. The smartphone is otherwise available in blue-black, blue, light purple and "lemon" yellow colors (the A34 is available in four different colors - lime, dark gray, purple and silver). Let's add that, like its predecessor, it is waterproof and dustproof according to the IP67 standard.

Galaxy The A35 is equipped with a 6,6-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution (1080 x 2340 px), an adaptive refresh rate of 60-120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1000 nits. In this area, it does not differ in any way from its predecessor. However, its screen is protected by the newer and more effective Gorilla Glass Victus (vs. Gorilla Glass 5).

V Galaxy The A35 is powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset that debuted in last year's phone Galaxy A54 (A34 used MediaTek's Dimensity 1080 chipset). It offers more than solid performance for the mid-range, but if you want to play more graphically demanding games, you have to look elsewhere. The chipset is supported by 6 or 8 GB of operating system and 128 or 256 GB of expandable internal memory.

Galaxy Compared to its predecessor, the A35 boasts a 50MP main camera, so it has the same resolution as the A55 and A54 (the A34 has a 48-megapixel main sensor). However, this is not the same 50MPx sensor used by the A55. The main camera, like that of its sibling, boasts a new Multi-readout function, which according to the Korean giant creates clear and clean night photos with a minimum of noise, as well as Super HDR technology, which delivers 12-bit videos (in Full HD resolution at 30 fps). And just like it, its predecessor can shoot videos in up to 4K resolution at 30 fps.

Batteries and other equipment
Galaxy The A35 draws power from a 5000 mAh battery that charges at 25 watts. Here, as with its sibling, nothing has changed year-on-year. As for other equipment, the A35, like the A34, has an under-display fingerprint reader, stereo speakers and an NFC chip.
