Each device with Androidem offers a screen lock tool to protect them from outside intrusion. It includes a number of security methods such as character, PIN code, password, gesture and biometrics - unlocking with fingerprints or face. It is very likely that you are using one of these security methods as well. However, if you no longer want to use the screen lock for some reason (for example, because you are afraid that you will permanently lock your phone by not remembering the character, PIN or password, or you simply find that it is holding you back), you can cancel it.

How to unlock the screen Androidu

  • Open it Settings.
  • Select an option Screen lock and security (at device Galaxy Lock the display).
  • Click on "Select the screen lock" (at device Galaxy Display lock type).
  • Enter the character, PIN, password, gesture or biometric that you are currently using.
  • Tap the option None.
  • For biometrics, you will need to confirm your choice by clicking a button Delete.

However, we do not recommend removing the screen lock (and especially not recommended by security experts), at least the basic protection against foreign intrusion (which is a gesture) should be on your phone. The strongest protection is, of course, biometrics. It is also quite likely that by removing the screen lock you will not be able to use some features.
