At the end of February, Samsung introduced the 3rd generation of its fitness bracelet. Rather than an evolution in this portfolio, it is a downgrade of it Galaxy Watch, because you will be delighted with what this inexpensive accessory has to offer. In fact, it can't be any other way, because you get an incredible amount for your money here.
Of course, this is an underrated device. After all, in the world of smart watches, a fitness bracelet can sound like a dirty word. And yes, maybe that's true in the case of the competition, but it's definitely not the case with Samsung. Galaxy Fit3 is an absolutely great device that will excite you, especially if you have already had something to do with Galaxy Watch.
Smaller, lighter, better
He's not smart, which is his major ailment. But let's also take into account its price. Plus, if you need to install apps, they're here Galaxy Watch. Even though the bracelet is totally different from them visually, it is almost 100% similar in terms of software. Its aluminum body offers a 1,6" rectangular AMOLED display with a resolution of 256 x 402 pixels, which, by the way, is 45% larger than the previous generation. And it looks great, better than most Garmin watches. For that, there is Always On.

On the right are tiles (activity, sleep, weather, calendar, media playback, heart rate, and you can add others), on the right are notifications from the connected phone, at the top is a panel of quick menus (with modes and routines or water lock), at the bottom are applications (for example even remote control of the camera or calculator). You can answer incoming calls with preset messages, and you can easily find both the bracelet and the phone by ringing each other.

Samsung then made the body 10% thinner and it is aluminum. Rather than Galaxy Watch so the bracelet looks like Apple Watch, which is not necessarily a bad thing, only there is one button instead of a crown. This is used to return to the watch face, wherever you are in the environment, a double press of it goes to the selection of activities and a long hold to the SOS function or shutdown. You can always go back by dragging your finger from right to left on the display. The weight of the entire solution is only 36,8 g, while the bracelet is also waterproof according to IP68.

Since we do not have an advanced operating system with the possibility of installing applications, but only a proprietary RtOS, only 16 MB of operating memory and 256 MB of integrated memory are enough. But everything is quick and immediate, you are not waiting for anything anywhere, which is quite surprising. The battery is 208mAh, you charge it through the POGO connector (on the other side is USB-C, the adapter is not included) and it lasts for about 13 days - that is what Samsung says, in reality it is about 10 days, which of course depends on how you use the bracelet and activation frequency and duration of activities. With them, just by the way, you have a choice of 101 modes, six of which are monitored automatically.

The wristband not only tracks your activity or steps, but also your heart rate continuously, and rather surprisingly, your blood oxygen level, stress, length and quality of sleep, including its stages. There's also the Samsung Sleep Coaching program, which aims to improve the quality of your rest. Everything then syncs with the Samsung Health app, but the classic app is used to pair and set up the bracelet Galaxy Wearable, which is the same as a watch or headphones.

In a device for 1 CZK, you probably wouldn't look for such a function as Hard Fall Detection. When the bracelet detects that the user has fallen under suspicious circumstances, it offers the option to call an ambulance. You can also call SOS by pressing the only present button five times.

Galaxy Fit3 will not disappoint you, because it has nothing
The only ailment of the bracelet is in its bracelet, i.e. the strap. It's a nice silicone one, but the fastening and unfastening is horrible. It's another one of Apple's trends, which looks nice but is extremely impractical. You push the end of the bracelet inside, when you usually find that you have tightened the bracelet too much or too little, and it is infuriating to unfasten it. At Apple, however Galaxy Fit3 inspired more. It also offers a very similar sense of belt attachment. To replace it, you just press the button on the bottom of the body and it will release.

Expensive devices can usually only disappoint because you usually expect more for your money. But cheap devices can only surprise when Galaxy Fit3 definitely surprises - with its appearance, processing, system, options, price. You don't like it Galaxy Watch, do you feel sorry for spending on them, and do you want to wear a fitness tracker only during activity? That's right Galaxy Fit3 just for you, as well as for everyone else who wants to join the Samsung Health ecosystem for a few crowns, specifically CZK 1. You have probably never spent so little money on any modern technological device that gave you so much benefit.
Won't it disappoint? Nothing? But it doesn't have Czech dials. which is not written anywhere. It doesn't show battery status in samsung widget on mobile. other devices show other signs.
Years ago I had a similar bracelet from Samsung - but it had GPS. This one doesn't have anything like that. Thumbs down for me.
