We are in the morning they wrote about how Samsung released series for its devices Galaxy S24 in the US already the second update during the month of March, and now we have the April one right here. So the company has started rolling out a new security update that addresses many of the ills of its top line of phones.

Although the first mentions of the update come from South Korea, it should already be spreading through the European market. At the very least, the fact that it comes before the month of April itself is quite surprising. But it certainly won't bother anyone, because its main goal is to eliminate errors that the models use Galaxy S24 suffers.

The new software update carries the firmware version in Europe S92xBXXU1AXCA. It is around 920 MB in size, which is quite a lot. It does, of course, include the April 2024 security patch, though Samsung hasn't directly revealed what security bugs it fixed. According to post on the Samsung Community Forum but the update improves the following aspects especially in photography:

  • White balance and camera exposure accuracy.
  • Image quality in low light.
  • Color accuracy in the ExpertRAW camera app.
  • Clarity of text on high zoom images.
  • Support for videos with a resolution of 480 × 480 pixels in Instant Slow Mo.

But that's not all. E.g. in China, the update also came with a new Kids Mode, which allows parents to create accounts for their children and manage their screen time through Samsung's family services. This is where the update ends AXCB. Of course, you can find out if an update is available for your device in the classic way, i.e. via Settings -> Software update.
