Samsung has officially announced that it will start rolling out AI features from Thursday Galaxy AI on select devices from last year. Below are the features supported on each device.
Sada Galaxy AI includes exactly 11 different functions in Samsung software including Simultaneous Translation, Text Assistant, generative photo editing, Circle to Search and more. Starting tomorrow (March 28), these features will be rolling out (via the One UI 6.1 build update) to devices from last year, such as last year's flagship phones Galaxy S23, tablet series Galaxy Tab S9, the new "budget flagship" Galaxy S23 FE and foldable smartphones Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5. But as it turns out, not all features will be supported everywhere.

Samsung for web 9to5Google clarified that selected features Galaxy AI will not be available for selected devices. Particulary speaking about Galaxy S23 FE, which will have to do without the Instant Slow-Mo feature in the Gallery app. This feature allows users to long press while watching a video to change that part to slow motion, even if the video was not originally shot in slow motion.

Furthermore, the Simultaneous Translation function will not be available for "Wi-Fi only" versions of tablets Galaxy Tab S9. This is somewhat of a surprise as this feature is designed to allow users to translate phone calls in real time. Only the 5G versions of last year's flagship tablets of the Korean giant will support it. Samsung otherwise says that the rest of the functions Galaxy AI will be available across supported devices.

The only AI feature that won't (at least not yet) be available outside the range Galaxy S24, is Photo Ambient Wallpaper. This feature dynamically changes the lock screen and home screen background based on the time of day and weather in the user's location.
