As you may remember, earlier this year, during the introduction of its new flagship range Galaxy S24, Samsung unveiled its first smart ring Galaxy Ring. A few weeks later, he showed it off at MWC 2024 and revealed some of its features. It has now appeared in the One UI superstructure.

As noticed by the web SamMobile, Galaxy Ring appeared in Samsung's battery widget. Once you add a widget to your home screen and go to its settings, you'll see an item Galaxy Ring along with items for Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Fit, Galaxy Watch and other devices.

Galaxy The Ring is very lightweight and will come in a variety of sizes and colors/finishes. It has a built-in heart rate sensor and sleep monitoring. Whether it will also have an SpO2 sensor, which measures blood oxygen saturation, has not yet been confirmed. It could last up to a week on a single charge and looks like it will be very comfortable to wear, so it should be an ideal choice for tracking the length and quality of your sleep.

Samsung's first smart ring will be officially unveiled at an upcoming event, according to recent anecdotal reports Galaxy Unpacked alongside the new foldable smartphones Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 and will reportedly be launched in early August.
