Samsung GearSamsung's Gear series of smartwatches has gained a lot of fans in its relatively short time of existence, and even more so last September/September when Samsung introduced its SIM-enabled Gear S. Although this is a really interesting and above all revolutionary device, as you can read in our review, the "absence" of a round design, which has always belonged to watches as such, has been criticized more than once, and perhaps rival Motorola used it to create a real design gem in the form of the Moto 360 smart watch.

However, the South Korean Samsung decided to do something about it, and as we did quite recently they found out, the company is also developing its own smart watch with a round display. In addition, the new watch should come with the designation SM-R720 and, as was the case with previous smart watches from Samsung, with the Tizen OS operating system. Their official name is not yet known, but the working name "Orbis" is used for them, but we can assume that they will be included in the Gear series.

As for the presentation/announcement date, according to information from the SamMobile server, "Orbis" should be presented shortly at the MWC 2015 event alongside Galaxy S6. If this really happened, Samsung would follow the concept from last year, when it presented at the same fair together with the flagship Galaxy S5 and Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo smart watches.
