By smart thermostat we mean the connection with smart heads for radiators and, of course, with a smartphone, thanks to which you have heating control right under your thumb. Application for mobile phones with Androidem 4.0.3. and higher has intuitive control. It's in Czech and if it's running in the background, it's enough for a month with up to 10 MB of data. Its size varies by version for different operating systems, but expect at least 50 MB of free memory space.
The application tracks the location of household members or their phones. The localization does not take place via GPS, as it would be offered, but via GSM and also Wi-Fi. This location tracking is much less energy intensive compared to GPS.
The tado° smart thermostat not only monitors whether you are at home or not, but also learns your daily rhythms in order to estimate in advance when you will leave for work or return earlier.
