Although we have so far calculated that we will see new models in the spring of next year Galaxy S9 only in the classic and "plus" version, the latest news from an investment company claims that we will see three models. A 4” version of the S9 Mini will be added to the two classic models.
The new Mini should have practically all the functions of its bigger brothers, although it would of course be deprived of part of the battery or similar things due to its small body. However, this might not be a problem in the end considering the relatively small display that the battery would have to keep running.

Competition for iPhone SE?
Introducing the Mini model would be a relatively logical step for another reason as well. As Samsung wants its bigger version Galaxy S9 directly competes with the apple iPhone X, we could consider the 4” Mini with Infinity display as a competitor of the very popular SE model. Although it has been on store shelves for some time and its price is slowly falling, it is still very popular. Samsung, however, nothing that could be done with a little one iPhonem SE compare, doesn't have.
Either way, we must not consider similar informace for a done deal. Similar speculations have also arisen in the past for the S7 or S8 models. Even with them, however, Samsung did not reach for a miniature version of its flagship. However, since there would undoubtedly be interest in her, we can expect a similar surprise without any problem.
