It would be foolish to think that Samsung has the highest share of the smartphone market only thanks to its flagships and a few other models, the price of which easily swings over ten thousand crowns. What attracts some users to Samsung are the models with much lower price tags. It is thanks to them that the sales of his models are where they are. And one such swallow will soon be presented to us by the South Korean giant.

If you are infatuated with the hardware specifications and beautiful design of the models from our website Galaxy S9 to Galaxy A8, we will probably disappoint you a little with this article. The South Korean giant will soon introduce their slightly poorer little brother – the model Galaxy J2 (2018), i.e. the successor of the current model.

The display does not glare

According to leaked information, he is not much different from his older brother. He too will be made of plastic and will weigh around 150 grams. It will then get a SuperAMOLED display, which, however, will certainly not dazzle anyone with its 960 x 540 resolution. However, unlike the new flagships, it will retain the 16:9 aspect ratio and its front will not lose the classic physical buttons.

As for the hardware, it probably won't excite you too much either. Under the hood, it will receive a Snapdragon 425 processor with a clock speed of 1,4 GHz, which will be ably supported by 1,5 GB of RAM memory and 16 GB of internal storage. This can of course be further expanded using microSD cards. Bluetooth 4.2, 8 MPx rear and 5 MPx front camera are definitely worth mentioning. The battery, which received a capacity of 2600 mAh, can then be recharged via the classic microUSB port. It will then run on the phone Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

Since the phone's hardware does not dazzle with anything, the price will also be relatively low. According to leaked information, this phone should cost less than 8000 rubles in Russia, which corresponds to roughly 2900 CZK, which is not bad at all for a smartphone with this equipment. So if you are looking for something more "classic" and you are not exactly a demanding user, you could be very satisfied with the upcoming J2 (2018). You will probably be able to view it already in the first months of next year.
