Samsung releases a new version of "Over the Horizon" every year when introducing the next generation of the line Galaxy S. It is no different this year at the launch of the annual event Galaxy S10. This familiar tune will be the default ringtone of this year's flagship, and very likely everyone's as well Galaxy device coming this year.

"Over The Horizon" is definitely one of the most famous theme tunes among all phone brands. Over the years, this composition has replaced various genres - rock, new age, fusion jazz and others. This year's version is tuned in the classical crossover style, which Samsung says is inspired by the beauty of the ocean. According to the South Korean company, the new tune evokes the vastness and majesty of the seas through a combination of soothing synths, strings and brass.

The video for the new version of "Over The Horizon" was shot on the coast of Sipadan Island in Malaysia. In the footage, we can see Ai Futaki, a famous conservationist and Guinness World Record holder in freediving. Filming was done by acclaimed nature filmmakers James Brickell and Simon Enderby. The track was composed by Academy Award-winning composer Steven Price. The song was recorded in the Abbey Road studio, which was also used by the Beatles, for example.
