The new EP68 series offers 4K HDR PRO image quality: four times more pixels for four times more detail. Ultra HD resolution (3840 x 2160) is four times larger than Full HD. The EP68 offers the perfection of an Ultra HD screen with more than eight million pixels. HDR PRO then ensures a stunningly detailed display of light and shadows.

The latest standard for digital files in 4K UHD resolution is HDR (High Dynamic Range), which significantly expands the range of contrast and color rendering. HDR PRO in conjunction with the Wide Color Gamut function enhances the experience of the HDR standard in the case of the EP68 and ensures richer and purer colors. Dolby Vision and HDR10+ features also bring improved brightness, deep blacks and improved contrast. The user then perceives many more details without missing a single one. Summary: The EP68 model series features the latest HDR standards (HDR 10/HDR HLG/HDR 10+/Dolby Vision), so regardless of the image source (TV broadcast, video streaming, etc.), the user can enjoy the benefits of 4K HDR resolution with improved contrast, colors and lots of details. Thanks to the system Android 9.0 and the Instant power-on function (must be set in Device preferences – Power – Instant power-on), the TV starts up quickly, and switching between TV programs and other applications is also fast. Consumption in Stand-by mode is only 0,29 W.
The EP68 model series uses Dolby Atmos with detailed sound and a breathtaking presentation of cinematic reality. Dolby Atmos realistically captures the movement of every object and ensures the spread of precise sound around the listener, who will then be completely drawn into the action. The EP68 completes the marriage of high picture and sound quality and uses the most advanced system used in smart TVs: Android In addition, a TV with built-in Google Home and Google Assistant services. The TV can be controlled by voice through select Alexa devices (must be purchased separately) such as the Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, Echo Show, Echo Spot and Echo Plus. The user can then give a command to play music, listen to the news, weather forecast or set the volume level or switch between individual channels and programs, as well as control other connected devices of the smart home.
The EP68 model series impresses at first glance with its ultra-thin design (6 mm), with a metal finish for an attractive appearance and durability. The household then gets top-of-the-line equipment. EP68 is an almost frameless television, which allows for a more intense experience and maximum immersion in the watched action.
TCL AI-IN
The new artificial intelligence platform TCL AI-IN enables the creation of an intelligent ecosystem that provides users with easy work with connected devices and a personalized experience. Televisions with TCL AI-IN enable voice control and become the center of a smart home. TCL AI-IN is compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
Price and availability
The TCL EP68 product line is localized for the Czech market and, among other things, supports the DVB-T2 broadcast format. There are 50″, 55″ and 65″ diagonals to choose from. TVs from the TCL EP68 series are available online and in most brick-and-mortar stores of major consumer electronics retailers.
Prices start at 12 CZK for a 990" diagonal (50EP50) and end at 680 CZK for a 20" diagonal (990EP65).
