In October of last year, reports first appeared in the media that Samsung was preparing a 5G version of its tablet Galaxy Tab S6. The company quietly confirmed the rumors a little later on its website, and now it looks like selected regions will see the 5G version of Samsung's flagship tablet very soon.

Samsung today confirmed that the release of the Samsung tablet Galaxy The Tab S6 5G is scheduled for release on January 30. The first – and for a long time also the only – region where this version of the tablet will go on sale will be South Korea. Samsung Galaxy The Tab S6 will thus become the first tablet in the world to have 5G connectivity.

It is almost identical in design to the Wi-Fi and LTE variant. It is equipped with a 5G modem Qualcomm Snapdragon X50 and equipped with a Super AMOLED display with a diagonal of 10,5 inches. The tablet is powered by a Snapdragon 855 processor and equipped with 6GB of RAM and will only be available in a variant with 128GB of storage. On the back of the tablet we find a 13MP wide-angle and a 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera module, the front camera has 8MP. A battery with a capacity of 7040 mAh takes care of enough energy for the tablet. Galaxy The Tab S6 is generally considered by reviewers to be the best tablet with Androidem which is currently available. It will be available for a price of approximately 19 crowns. Samsung has not yet specified when the 450G version of its Galaxy The Tab S6 will go on sale in other regions.
