As is known, Qualcomm will unveil its new flagship chipset to the public in December Snapdragon 875. In addition to higher performance than its predecessor, the Snapdragon 865 will also bring - thanks to Quick Charge 5 technology - support for fast charging with a power of 100 W. Recently, the increasingly well-known Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station has come with information that it will be introduced on the scene in the first three months of next year five new high-end smartphones that will offer a powerful combination of Snapdragon 875 and 100W charging.

These phones could include models of Samsung's upcoming flagship series Galaxy S21 (S30) and the upcoming flagship smartphones OnePlus 9 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro. There is also talk of Meizu's new "flagship" - the Meizu 18 Max 5G.

At the moment, however, it is not clear which of the mentioned phones - if any at all - will make full use of the 100W charging support. The latest leaks suggest that Samsung will stick with 21W for the S45 Ultra, and OnePlus and Xiaomi will probably want to promote their solutions in this area.

Of course, at the moment it's all about marketing and brand promotion - all the mentioned phones will support the USB Power Delivery fast charging standard in one form or another (after all, the aforementioned Quick Charge 5 technology is also built on this standard).

As for the chip itself, according to the first benchmarks, it could be more than 25% faster than the Snapdragon 865+ chip, thanks mainly to the powerful new Cortex-X1 core (Samsung's new Exynos 2100 flagship chip should also use this core). It is to be introduced on December 1.
